SDGE has the highest utility rates in the US. Here in San Diego, we pay an average of $.50 cents per KWH, while the nation average is around $.17 per KWH.

There aren't any major power plants left in southern California, so almost all of our power is imported from out of state (mostly AZ and NV). Because of this, SDGE and other utility companies charge a "delivery fee" just to get the power to your home. With Solar, you have the power plant on your own roof, without the fear of any delivery charges.

- The first step is having a look at the home's electricity bill, specifically the page with the usage bar graph. That helps us design the best fit for the home!
We work with a handful of different Solar companies, including SunRun, Better Earth, Enfin, GoodLeap, and more.
A lot of our projects lately have been adding on panels to older systems that aren't producing enough. Adding on panels with the PPA program can get the home more panels, as well as a backup battery without needing to spend thousands. The goal is to not pull additional power from the grid, and rely only on the system on your own roof.
Yes, we can set up purchase options for home owners leaning more towards the purchase route. However with the tax credit disappearing at the end of 2025 and the necessity of battery storage, the benefits of purchasing a system won't be as enticing as they once were.
We do NOT recommend doing a "lease" which would put a lien on the home, as well as maintenance coverage requirements.
Solar panels alone cannot power your home during a power outage. However, with the addition of a battery storage system, you can store excess energy generated by your panels and use it to power your home during an outage.
Net metering is a billing arrangement that allows you to receive credit on your utility bill for excess energy generated by your solar panels. This credit can be used to offset the cost of energy you use from the grid.
